Foundations of Trade Policy with insights from the EU–Armenia Relationship
On Wednesday, 14 November 2026, Dr. Tatevik Vardanyan, from the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE), gave an online guest lecture in which she introduced the key concepts, instruments, and global frameworks of trade policy. The lecture included a practical excursus focusing on the context of the EU–Armenia relationship. Following the lecture, Dr. Vardanyan, the students and the HTWK staff discussed recent issues in EU–Armenia trade, such as the difficulties Armenia faces in expanding its trade with the EU despite being part of the Eurasian trade agreement with Russia.
It was a very interesting guest lecture. Many thanks to our guest lecturer and all participants for the discussion.
